My fears have resided in my being since childhood when we were mostly left at home with a relative while my parents were off to work. The fears developed even more when I lost my husband 11 years ago. The fears grew to be dragons and I could only HOPE to slay them with prayers and reading the Psalms every night before I go to sleep. The dragons haven’t been slain but they have been silenced.

Pride is one of the 7 capital sins, and this is hard to notice it. How can we conquer it?

In accepting that we are nothing without God, so why boost own egoes?
In accepting who we are.
In not comparing ourselves to others.
In learning to appreciate the good deeds done by the others, and:
To say thank you always for everything that happens to us or to say thank you for the services rendered for us by others.

A humble person always says “Thank You”. That’s all. Hope you learn something about my Dragon.

As human beings, we all have our own dragons and they should not threaten nor bother us, but they should help and mold us into a better person. For me. FEAR is my dragon. When I get afraid i just pray then leave it to God alone because I know he will never abandon me even in the most tragic events of my life.
